I should start with an apology. I went to the Stargate Fan Awards page in, oh, I think it was late June to see when nominations were due. How could I have missed them? I hadn't started a formal list yet of stories to nominate (because I thought I had lots of time!), but there were several stories I planned to nominate. Sorry, everyone! I'm very glad to see that some of my favorites were nominated without me (as well they should be!). Congratulations to all those nominated, including [livejournal.com profile] redbyrd_sgfic, [livejournal.com profile] aurora_novarum, [livejournal.com profile] niamaea, [livejournal.com profile] kellifer_fic, [livejournal.com profile] or_mabinogi, and [livejournal.com profile] sg_fignewton! And those are only the people I know have been nominated!

And now the Sally Field part: I was absolutely shocked that not only did other people remember when nominations were due, someone nominated three of my stories! "Charades", "Fostering Relations", and "My Dinner with Vala" were all nominated! Thank you, whoever nominated me! (And thanks especially to [livejournal.com profile] redbyrd_sgfic and my Brilliant Husband, who read my drafts and make great suggestions and save me from errors!)

I'm torn between "Can't wait to see the full list of nominations!" and "How the frell am I gonna read all these stories before the voting ends?" (Oh, and "Gee, maybe I need to finish up those two stories I'm working on, because clearly some people do like to read them!")

Congratulations, and well deserved!

(and *blushes* thanks for the congrats back, hee!)

Yes, yes you do. :-)
