I am a long time fan of science fiction, medieval English language and literature, cats, and chocolate.

I try to spell out these abbreviations at least once in each entry, but in case I forget or you get lost:
BH=Brilliant Husband
SC=Small Child, who then became Daughter, who then finally allowed me to use Progeny
I also live with cats who have managed to gain pseudonyms for themselves.
Sparky was a middle-aged, smallish female, not very friendly; she has gone on to her eternal reward, whatever that may be.
Doofus was a young male, large, who loved Daughter more than he loved anyone else (which is saying quite a bit). He does not like Phantom.
Phantom is a small female who mostly hated Doofus and loves the rest of us.

Oh, and it's pronounced ELF-yee-vu--just like it's spelled.

I used to have a website called The Mead Hall where I posted my fanfic. I let that go and spend much of my fannish life now at Archive of Our Own, where you can find me as Aelfgyfu. I have put most of my fanfic in the archive there; a few stories remain to be posted that were on The Mead Hall or have so far only been on LJ. I try now to make my bookmarks useful to others who share my interests, so feel free to check out my bookmarks collection and read my fics!
