Hi, folks! I know it has been forever, and I'm going to try to do better.
I've got a confession that I hope doesn't feel like I'm manipulating you, but for a while now, when I post, I get maybe a comment or two, but mostly radio silence, both here and at LJ. I feel as if no one has been reading my posts, so I wait longer and longer between posts, which may be causing people to drop me as a friend, and then nobody seems to read my posts, and I find it hard to post thinking that I'm just dropping a dispatch into the void.
So if you're out there, please just say "hi!" or reply with "." or anything so that I feel like I'm not talking into the void.
Confession Part 2: I'm on FB under another name, and I feel like FB has been getting nastier and nastier. I've gotten a lot warier of posting personal things on there for fear that I'll inadvertently say something hurtful (and be like the many other people saying hurtful things there, though I think a lot of them aren't doing it inadvertently) or find myself under attack. And I'm afraid I've been bringing that paranoia back here, where normally I do feel safe, but it's hard for me to write much at all.
So please let me know if you're reading this, on either DW or LJ, and THANK YOU to everyone who is still posting in these two places. I'm reading, and I hope you've all seen some replies to me on your posts; I don't reply on every post, but I read everyone showing up in my friends feed. I still feel connected to you, even if I've been kind of cheating by not sharing myself.

I confess, somewhat shamefacedly, that there for a while I wasn't reading your posts, because I'd pretty much stopped checking my LJ flist and, indeed, pretty much kept forgetting LJ even still existed unless someone commented on one of my crossposts there. But then at the beginning of the year I saw you were on DW as well, and now I am seeing your posts again. Yay!

Still here, but also still only interested re SG-1, so... that leaves me pretty much quiet. But I always smile when your icon pops up in my reading circle!
