So after I decided that I couldn't comfortably read my friends' page in my new style, I looked at every style several times and tried a few of them. I think I can read things now, and I found something close to the style I used to have, which apparently isn't available any longer. (Perhaps it was s1?)
I hope this is better—for me and for all of you. Thanks for responding to my last post. I had a very frustrating time going through styles. Many of them don't show the journal subtitle! I like my quotation from Julian of Norwich very much and want it to show! Some had bad kerning so the title showed, but it was broken over two lines, with letters overlapping hideously. Some styles removed the links at the top of the page. How do you get to User Info if you don't see a link? (That's rhetorical. I know, actually, but it's less convenient to add "profile" on the end of the URL than click a link.) I was surprised at how many styles were missing elements that I consider important.
At some point I will put up an actual post with content.
There will definitely be an SG-1 story, probably before said post.
I have not forgotten Primeval,
kristen_mara; I'm hoping eventually to get back to Story 3 in my Epic Arc. I've just had a very busy year.
We've recently gotten into Downton Abbey, which I'm really enjoying.
