Brilliant Husband just called me in to see an ad that ran during his show; conveniently, it's on YouTube:
(30 second promo for Psych and White Collar)
OMG! Now I want Psych back! Gus, you are my man! Plus now I want to see White Collar!
When can I fit in White Collar, though?
1. We just heard that Chuck has been renewed; we're still on s2. Must finish s2, then mainline the DVDs of s3 (if available) before s4 starts in the fall.
2. I returned to the fold and resumed watching SGU (thoughts on that later—remind me, 'k?).
3. We're (re)watching Greatest American Hero (I saw it all, I think; BH saw much of it, but it's been years, and dang but it's still funny).
4. Soon Psych will return, and
5. I'll probably go back to Warehouse 13.
6. Oh, and there's Glee (known in our house as The Kurt and Mercedes Show; who's with me on this?)
7. Of course, we still have Big Bang Theory.
8. We're watching Leverage even more slowly than rewatching GAH; I think we're averaging one episode of Leverage every six weeks or so.
9. We haven't yet seen s3 of Slings and Arrows.
10. I'm sure I'm forgetting things, but those may be the shows people have urged me to start (West Wing, Man from UNCLE, I Spy) that we haven't actually started. (We watched one episode of I Spy, but I have to finish the rewatch of GAH before I do more of that, or I'm going to have some serious cognitive dissonance. I had enough difficulty with that one episode as it was. Not enough to stop me from watching more at some point, however.)
When did I last have this many shows at once? What the heck am I doing with a job? Clearly, I need to stop and just start watching shows full time! Ah—but then it might get hard to pay for cable and Netflix. Catch-22.
Back to the salt mines. (I get paid to read Old English. I don't complain too much about that!)
Just watch the little promo above.

Add Burn Notice and Royal Pains (I've seen crossover ads for those two as well). Yes to Warehouse 13 and don't forget Eureka, both of which will be crossing each other over.
It's only a Catch-22 if you aren't getting paid to watch TV. I'm still looking for a benefactor.

1. I've just discovered "Chuck". No one told me Adam Baldwin was in it, playing a character who is basically Jayne with brains! Love him. Plus Chuck is utterly adorable (and kinda hot).
2. Hmm - I made it to episode 9. I don't care to continue. I have other happier things to watch.
3. Never heard of it.
4. YEEEEEE!!!
5. W13 is awesome, even if they haven't explained ANYTHING about how the artifacts come in existence. This annoys me, but not enough to give up.
6. Have seen 2 eps of Glee. Wasn't impressed. Maybe because I didn't see the first two eps?
7. Yes, discovered BBT recently too. HILARIOUS! Sheldon Cooper FTW - BAZINGA! (I so want to read season 1 Sheldon (i.e. doesn't understand sarcasm) meets Rodney.)
8. People keep going on about this show. Still not interested enough to bother.
9. S3 is not as good as the others, but still - it's Paul Gross doing Shakespeare and being crazy. These are good things.
10. West Wing, West Wing, West Wing....
So those guys are in White Collar. Ha! My reaction was "Oh look, it's Gus and Bryce Larkin." (PSST - don't spoile me for Chuck, I've only got through 1 and a half seasons - then again I only discovered it last week!)
I'm looking forward to the return of Eureka, especially as they've announced that they'll be doing two crossover episodes with W13 where one character from each visits the other. I love crossovers, so I'm very excited.

Don't say I didn't tell you! Clearly, you need to hang on my every word! And haven't you looked closely at my Casey & Chuck icon (here)? So it's only 100x100 pixels; that's the best I can do!
2. I quit after SGU 1.11. Then I came back for 1.14. I do see a big difference in the show. I care about it. I just flat out hate Young now, but I've come to care about Rush, which is a huge change for me, and a bit for TJ and Camile. I still love Eli, and Greer fascinates me. I'd almost watch the show for him alone (except that he gets nowhere near enough screen time.)
You might give it another try. Or you might not. I don't want to pressure you. I'm glad I came back, but there are still some aspects I don't like. Some have really improved, however.
3. I mentioned Greatest American Hero briefly in the same entry I linked above. It ran from 1981–3, starring William Katt, Robert Culp, and Connie Selleca. Robert Culp is the reason to watch. I need a Bill Maxwell icon. The premise is simple: aliens decide to give a super suit to a high school teacher whom they team up with an FBI agent he has barely met to that point. The teacher, Ralph Hinkley, loses the instruction book right away. The agent, Bill Maxwell, is more than a little nuts. The effects are terrible. The plots? Couldn't say; I don't watch for the plots. The chemistry is great, and I find the show hilarious—even after all these years. Obviously, I was pretty young when it aired (no, I'm not saying how young!).
4. Psych!
5. I get annoyed with a lot of things about W13. I'm still hanging in there for Claudia. I like her.
6. I cannot stand most of the plots of Glee. Most weeks, the only characters I care about are Kurt and his dad, and Mercedes. I don't like any of the adults. I don't find Sue Sylvester as funny as most people do. I find her funny sometimes, but I don't think offensive automatically equals funny, and I find much of what comes out of her mouth merely offensive. I love the singing and dancing. I've considered fast-forwarding through the bits between.
7. Bazinga indeed!
8. I'm not thrilled with Leverage; I like some things about it, but not others. I won't urge you to watch.
9. Paul Gross is all you need to say. Hey, I watched all of Eastwick for him. He and Rebecca Romijn were awesome.
10. Eventually!
You discovered Chuck last week and made it through 1 1/2 seasons already? You'll pass us soon!! Don't spoil us!

2. I discovered loathing for Young quite early on. Rush, at the very least, is interesting in a Machiavellian way. I really don't care for or about the show. Maybe I'll watch it some day when I'm really bored, or mass consensus says the show has improved.
3. Sounds funny.
Someone lent me the season 1 box set of Chuck, and when such things happen I tend to consume multiple episodes at a sitting, therefore getting me through a 13 ep season fairly fast.

Hee! That promo is awesome!
You and I could spend our fictitious free time together, and catch up on White Collar along with
Re: 1. I so have to catch up on this season of Chuck. Too much TV this year, or too little time.
Re: 4. \o/
Re: 7. That show is my happy place (It and How I Met Your Mother. Have you ever watched that?)

Yes, I do want to see White Collar, but when? And I want to start at the beginning.
Maybe we can catch up on Chuck together—after I finish s2.

The promos for HIMYM are rather misleading, then again, CBS has a problems with promos in general (The best of which this year was: "CSIs in spaaaaaace!" "Oh, it's only a model!"); I actually caught a later episode by accident and it took me completely by surprise by how friendshippy it is.
Yes, I do want to see White Collar, but when? And I want to start at the beginning.
Since our time zones are similar... this could be arranged. (I have my ways.) Although I have a feeling it's a show BH would probably enjoy, so you might want to try and find a slot to watch it with him.
Maybe we can catch up on Chuck together—after I finish s2.
Sure thing! Just let me know.
Oh! Did you ever wind up watching any of Royal Pains? I'm afraid I might be alone in my love of that show.

Great promo!
Can still remember scenes from when I used to watch Greatest American Hero in primary school, but not full eps and haven't seen them since.
I was pleasantly surprised by the bits of Big Bang Theory that I have seen - I tend to find a lot of sitcoms to be strained and trying too hard for laughs, but I enjoyed the five mins I did get to see ;) And I'm a geek girl, so it appealed to me.
