Oh, my gosh! Now what? Well, I have a few guesses (and the preview gave me a few more) but WOW, what an episode. Wouldn't let BH delete it; I want to see a scene or two again. (George and Annie. I love them more than ever. Nothing against Mitchell, but George and Annie!)

Yes, totally made of win. And all of them -- Mitchell having to do what he did with Lauren. And both the boys being so 'of course we'll be alright' when you so know Annie's the one really keeping them sane (and in tea). I'm loving them all to bits. And I must get me icons!

*pops in* I made some icons a little while back and they're all up for grabs. Mostly they're from episodes 5 & 6 and they do contain spoilers. :)

*loves Josie* And I will miss Seth even though I completely understand the necessity of his... last scene. The final confrontation with Owen is made of so much win.

I also love the show's (alluded) interpretation of death. The 'secret' Annie mentions to Owen is along those lines and you can see Mitchell ever so subtle shake his head no to Annie when George asks what she said. And Annie telling George not to look when she opens the door, after she told him it would probably be 'something else' as opposed to 'something good'. But they keep trying to protect him from the knowledge of what death really is. Another clue is when the man wakes up in the mortuary. His words get a little muted, though. The clearest clue is in the pilot.

Actually, the "you hated me" line makes more sense given the pilot. The series does an excellent job of showing that George may be somewhat annoyed that he has to deal with the spirit world but at the same time he really does care for Annie. The pilot expands more on his earlier and much more exaggerated irritation that makes that line make more sense. (The original actress who played Annie was very good in the role, but I found her accent to be way too thick even for my level of comprehension. Lenora is a very good replacement, but I may be speaking from 'whats-done-is-done'.)

This is apparently the only episode where George doesn't transform. I still have some astronomical issues with the supposed full moon myth but the drama is played out so well that I generally ignore it. I may find some time to expand on that in a future post.

Oh that was the best episode so far! I love the George and Annie scene when they're...getting to that place that's "about to close."

*whistles innocently*

I even loved Owen just for being so much of a smarmy bastard he was entertaining to hate.

I read it as all bluster (at least at first), but he knew Annie well enough to realize he'd scored. If she'd pulled her poltergeisting, I think it would be a different tune. But when he realized she was the same person, just dead and thus unable to hurt him, he kept going with the manipulation techniques he'd used control her during her lifetime, growing more confident every time with his success.

I half expected him to get busted by confessing to George and Mitchell because they "didn't see" Annie and he was going on about killing his fiancee in their house, bragging like a nutter. This method was much much creepier.

Owen was the creepiest monster of all. "Human" yet unlike the "monsters" he didn't have a biological urge for doing what he did. He just got off on it.

Owen struck me as a psychopath, who originally just got his kicks by controlling those around him, but killing someone and getting away with it really got his rocks off.

George is just adorkable. Mitchell is hot, but I can't help myself, I go for the dorky guys.

"That was pathetic. We're the world's gayest ninjas." OK, normally I don't like it when people use "gay" as a joke, but I still couldn't help but laugh at the line delivery.

I can't wait for your reaction to the finale. *g*
