Remember how I said, "Download those audio plays quickly, before the Beeb realizes they've left them open to the States?" I went to download the third play, and it downloaded really suspiciously fast, so I checked it right away and got the "We're sorry that you don't live in the UK, you poor sod" message. I made a sound roughly like the one Charlie Brown makes when Lucy pulls the football away at the last moment and he goes flying through the air. (I have not gone back to see if they've pulled the ones I'd already downloaded.)

Fortunately, joonscribble had already posted by the time I finished making my cartoon AAAUUUUGGGHHHHH sound, with this link. I don't know who uploaded it, but I am very grateful!

We heard "Asylum" last night. It wasn't brilliant, but it was Torchwood, for which I'm starved enough that I definitely appreciated it.

Yes, I've actually had all these TW radio play posts friends-locked. First I didn't want the Beeb to get wind of the fact that Americans were downloading, and now I don't want them to know someone has posted it for all the world to get.

Yes, I'm sure the BBC is personally interested in me.

Yeah, that just happened to me, too, although, oddly, "Golden Age" still downloaded just fine. So I guess they don't mind us furriners having that one.

Of course, it took me two seconds to find a torrent, anyway.

You know, I try really hard to play by the rules. I'd even have paid for the download on iTunes or Amazon. But when we can't even get it, and they've apparently announced that it's canon, and so they may be setting up developments for "Children of Earth"--well, any qualms I might have had evaporated.

I have to say, they're shooting themselves in the foot when we all just find a way to download free something I'd have paid for. (Not a lot, mind you, but if they give me no legitimate way to get it....)

Yeah, that's pretty much my attitude. Or as I like to put it: I'm happy to buy a ticket for the show, but if you won't sell me one, I have no qualms about peeking through the hole in the fence. :)
