I didn't win Get in the Gate

Well, it's official. Joe Mallozzi took photos of "two contest winners" and posted them on his blog (warning: there be mild spoilers here!) of yesterday. And neither is me. :( I think what he means is that one is the winner and the other is the friend who gets to come along. And the picture shows the two with Paul McGillion and David Hewlett, who saw the pair getting a set tour and went and chatted them up. I so wanted that to be me and Brilliant Husband!

On the bright side, they always have the winners in the finales, right? So Paul McGillion is in the finale, right? Yes! Bring back Carson and keep him for Season 5! Of course, that means we need a Season 5! (I'll deliver my full rant on Carson's death in another post, another day. I'm trying to scale it back some first.)

And I'll enter Get in the Gate again for s5! (And next time I'll make Brilliant Husband enter more often!)

Congratulations to the winner(s). I hope they took lots of pictures and will share them and post lovely things about their experiences somewhere for us to read!

Damn. The winner wasn't me either. I suppose I should have figured that out since, you know, I wasn't there. Heh.

Doesn't the winner also get a spot in one of the SG1 movies? Maybe filming for that has already come to a close. *shrug* Again, wasn't me.

Oh, my fingers were firmly in my ears while I chanted a loud "LaLaLaLaLa" as I read your post, so I missed whatever spoilers you mentioned. ;-)

This time the rules said nothing about SG-1; I don't belive the winner got to be in either of the movies because shooting had finished on those well before SGA got near the end of its season. It's too bad, but at least I knew I wouldn't get to meet the stars of SG-1! I was, however, really holding out hope for exactly the two actors who did go over and meet the winners while Mallozzi was on set. I was convinced that call would come any way now. . . .

Well, there's always next year, right?

Well, yay for having Carson back at least. I don't enter because I just don't want to be on tv. And I don't care about meeting actors. Now, if they had some serious prize packages like dvd's and such, I'd be entering every day!
