"What do you mean fall finale this week?! I'm going to go into withdrawal!"

Wait, it is??! But it seems like we've had hardly any of it! Noooo!

Ian is my favorite. They're adorable, ok? Emergency cat ears?

E-meow-gency cat ears, even, which is RIDICULOUSLY adorable. Ian really is the best, and I need an increased supply of them. :)

I thought Magic would be my favorite, and he's a close second. I first remember seeing Ernie Hudson in Ghostbusters, where I loved him

I mostly knew him previously as the prison warden on Oz, who was not especially likeable, so it took me a moment to get past that. I have now, though, and have definitely come to appreciate Magic!

I also liked how they did not in fact blackmail the congresswoman. I can imagine him thinking, "Blackmail's not my style. Bribery? Now that is." It's an everybody wins scenario—if they manage to get control of the leaps.

That was a really interesting scene, and also served to get me thinking in new ways about what it would, in fact, mean if it were possible to control it. The possibilities are a little staggering, honestly.

I want to believe that pre-swiss-cheese Ben and Janis had really good reasons for what they did, and that Al Calavicci's daughter is not really a villain but a misguided good guy.

I will completely believe this until and unless I am forced not to. But, yeah, drugging her mom was not okay.

And sometimes it forgot its own rules: there's no excuse for Sam in the body of a man with no legs to walk with legs he doesn't physically have, ok?

The original was never, ever, ever consistent about the question of whether Sam was actually possessing the person's body, or Leaping in as himself and only appearing as them to everyone else. I like the fact that this one has taken a very clear stand on the matter and seems to be sticking with it.
