Those of you who have known me for long know that I have a completely unsecret obsession with figuring out where the bathrooms are in tv shows and movies. I blame the original Star Trek and learning as a child that the blueprints for the Enterprise did not include any bathrooms.
I wasn't actually worried about Neal Caffrey's bathroom because I could see a door that must be a bathroom—until I watched the most recent episode last night.
I don't think this really qualifies as a spoiler, but
Sam put it better than I did, so I'll just quote from
copperbadge; here's the entry, but it has SPOILERS for "Countermeasures," Tuesday's ep:
"2. Neal's bathroom is not a bathroom, it's a WHOLE NOTHER HALF OF HIS APARTMENT. (Sorry, I am obsessed with his apartment, because for a while there he had an invisible bathroom.) Apparently, the most common recurring dream among New Yorkers involves opening a closet door and finding a whole new suite of rooms. With Neal, this is actually the case. I bet his wardrobe has a secret entrance to Narnia at the back. "
(Next stop: where is the bathroom in 221b Baker Street? I was looking at Aithine's screencaps from 'The Great Game' yesterday and saw a door or hallway to the left of the fridge in one scene, but of course now I can't find that cap again without investing time that I don't have this morning.
EDIT: FOUND! See here. Sam thinks it's either Sherlock's room or the bathroom. Could be both! Goodness knows how many rooms there are back there!
I found a very clear cap of John looking in the fridge, but sadly it's really dark to make an icon, and his face isn't doing quite what I thought I remembered it doing.)
Yes, I've made a new tag for something I discuss a surprising amount on my LJ: "bathrooms".
