When I was complaining about Star Trek the 2009 movie, I said we'd have to get out the DVDs and start watching, and we'd introduce Small Child to the show. We've (re)watched the first two episodes now.
Holy. Cow. I think I haven't watched TOS since high school, except for an episode or two (maybe a handful), so that's half a lifetime (or a little more, okay). I'd forgotten a lot. I suppose I don't need spoiler cuts for ST:TOS, but I certainly need a length cut! (Yes, there are spoilers too, if you haven't actually seen these episodes.) ( 'The Man Trap' and 'Charlie X', or 'Wow, it's scary to be a woman on Star Trek!' )
