Well, actually, it was really Rewatching "Remembrance of the Daleks"--yes, the twenty-fifth anniversary episode of Doctor Who--but that doesn't make as good a subject line. Small Child saw it for the first time. ( Maunderings behind the cut--spoilers for those who haven't seen it )

By the way, does anyone (yes, I'm looking at you, bentleywg; you know everything, right?) know what Sophie Aldred has been up to lately? Has she been doing stage? Being a stay-at-home mom some of the time? IMDb seems a bit thin for her, and her most recent screen appearances are 2004. It does say she and her spouse have two children, whose ages aren't given.

I think I'm coming down with something. Not fun. Maybe it's just the smoke I inhaled at the fireworks last night?
