I'm 35% immature? Clearly, the test is flawed. It's based on my answers, and not on my stories: "My Dinner with Vala" (SG-1) features bathroom humor; "Better Than Revenge" (SG-1) features . . . well, it's at the very end, and I don't want to give it away; and "Fresh Scars" includes head injury humor and a scene that involves people mistaking two straight men for gay. Hmm. I think Primeval is actually decreasing my maturity. (And just wait until the new novella. Yes, I know I keep saying that. Bother dudethemath, my first beta.)

Very interesting. Did anyone else look at their detailed results? I'm curious about those, but I haven't noticed any of my friends posting them!

The breakdown was something like:
42% Slasher (Ehh, I can see it)
46% Weirdo (That's rather low...)
75% True Fan (That high?)
69% Mindgamer
60% BarelyFF (I have no idea what that means either... barely fanfic at all?)
37% Immature, which is rather surprising

I did the test and it annoyed me so much that I didn't post the results (the grammar and the way slash had been bunged in with mpreg and other things). I got the true fan result as well . . .

I think the test may have been written by someone whose first language wasn't English, and it's not a very good one—but it gave me interesting results to talk about! The slash result was the one that decided me on posting it! It's probably hard to believe since you've known me only recently, and in a fandom where I do read the slash, but I'm really very gen in most of my other fandoms. (Oddly, though, I like het even less than I like slash—maybe because slash is utterly removed from me, where I see het as "Oh, gosh, that's not my experience!")

Het doesn't interest me in the least, but I only see slash in certain fandoms -- probably why Primeval is only my second after Pros *g*.

Primeval's interesting, I think, because there are a lot of pairings. Left to my own devices, I'd probably only write Stephen/Ryan and S1 Nick/Stephen. Writing birthday fic and prompts for people where there are other pairings is a good test of my writing skills *g*.

Same here - Horatio and Archie in "Hornblower", then Stephen and Nick in "Primeval". Those are pairings that I can see. Apart from that, my other favourite pairings or interactions have been het (like Mulder and Scully), friendship and in "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" the adoptive father and son bond between two of the main characters.
