We need a song

In a recent episode of Castle (SPOILER ALERT FOR REALLY MINOR SPOILER), Castle and Beckett discover, to their horror, that they each think they have a song as a couple—but they've each identified a different one.

After watching this, of course, I told Brilliant Husband that I didn't think Beckett would be the sort to want a song. I mean, BH and I don't have a song. Right?

He said, "I thought it was 'What's That Blue Thing Doing There?' and I said, "But I thought it was 'Skullcrusher Mountain'!"

It's probably important that I tell you that I'm the one who keeps singing the refrain to "Skullcrusher Mountain," despite the fact that I think BH is smarter than I am. It's not him being creepy and patronizing, it's me being . . . oh, never mind.

(I would put in a link to Uncle Bonsai's "I Need a Theme Song" here if I could find one, but it's really hard to find their songs online.)

At least we amuse ourselves and each other.

LOL!! I remember that and yeah...did not know Beckett even cared about such things. But she's full of surprises, lol!!

Hubby and I will probably do that when he sees this Castle. He's a little behind. But I kind of want to know what he thinks of as 'our song' (because I never really stopped to care about that myself, lol!)

*HUGS*

We never had one back in the day - but I just asked hubby and he said 'What If The Storm Ends (The Lightning Strike)' by Snow Patrol (which I can't disagree with).

LOL!! Never mind, he just remembered our original song (over 17 years ago...so long forgotten) was 'Keep On Rockin' Me Baby' by The Steve Miller Band. And 'Patience' by GNR (when we were seperated for a short time).

Gosh...I think we've had two or three - but it changes over the years. Currently, Lightning Strike holds...

I should have argued that "our song" couldn't be one we hadn't heard until we'd been married nearly twenty years. But if you open it up to that: "You Look Good in Glasses."

{grin} I vaguely recall once doing a 'what is their theme song' list for all of the Blakes 7 people - can't recall them rest, but Tarrant's was "Those Magnificent Men in Their Flying Machines".

Avon and Servalan are, EVERYONE suggested, The Masochism Tango.
