We need a song
In a recent episode of Castle (SPOILER ALERT FOR REALLY MINOR SPOILER), Castle and Beckett discover, to their horror, that they each think they have a song as a couple—but they've each identified a different one.
After watching this, of course, I told Brilliant Husband that I didn't think Beckett would be the sort to want a song. I mean, BH and I don't have a song. Right?
He said, "I thought it was 'What's That Blue Thing Doing There?' and I said, "But I thought it was 'Skullcrusher Mountain'!"
It's probably important that I tell you that I'm the one who keeps singing the refrain to "Skullcrusher Mountain," despite the fact that I think BH is smarter than I am. It's not him being creepy and patronizing, it's me being . . . oh, never mind.
(I would put in a link to Uncle Bonsai's "I Need a Theme Song" here if I could find one, but it's really hard to find their songs online.)
At least we amuse ourselves and each other.
