Ohhh, there's an idea!! Comforting the MASTER instead of the Doctor...and maybe the Master repeating those words (from Clara) to the Doctor and the Doctor remembering them and remembering the Master mentioning that dream and being alone and HAVING it and...yeah. Wanna see fic by you for this!!

That was hilarious though!! Made no sense and was VERY Doctor, lol!! I do love it when he's clueless like that.
