Hey, why am I only just now finding this?! This is excellent! And just what I wanted to see after Miller's Crossing. Very nice!
I like the comparison of Sam's and Rodney's families, which hadn't occurred to me before, and she does a great job of pushing Rodney out of his guilt feelings! And Radek is excellent.. and I loved the bit where Sam thinks that Rodney is a walk in the park compared to arguing with Daniel *g*.
And an excellent point that Wallace would probably have been executed anyway.
(And I do know why I missed this, actually, I was in database hell at the time....)
