Can't help thinking an audiobook of the OED wouldn't be much use to anyone except to send them to sleep, possibly, given you can't look words up on an audiobook. (An interactive CD in which the words are spoken aloud, however...)
One small Brit pick: Arthur had no qualms about asking passengers much of anything.
That'd read better as "Arthur had no qualms about asking passengers about anything."
